MALIBU Day Trip For ALL Budgets - Things to Do From Malibu Pier to El Matador and Zuma Beach

A perfect day trip to Malibu for any budget. I did not want to leave Malibu, but time was of the essence to see everything I could in one day to be able to pick up my Cabana van for my national park road trip! This is a guide to a day trip to Malibu from Los Angeles including stops at the famous Zuma Beach, Malibu Fishing Pier, and El Matador State Beach. #malibu #losangeles #californiaroadtrip

The mission was to check out as much of the 21 miles of scenic beauty called Malibu, from the coastline's stretch of beaches like Zuma Breach, El Matador Beach, to the unique hiking opportunities at Point Dume State Beach and the Santa Monica Mountain Range. This is one of the most beautiful stretches of the Pacific Coast Highway and you are not going to want to miss this California Travel Vlog.

Starting off from Venice Beach where we just checked out of our place at Samesun Venice Beach, it took around 30 minutes driving to Malibu Fishing Pier and Surfrider Beach.

Everything I knew about Malibu was from the movies, so I just imagined mansions, expensive houses, and shops and restaurants. I mean you cannot blame me when you know celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Leonardo DiCaprio call this home

However, I was surprised with beautiful hikes, nature, amazing beaches, and found a peaceful vacation from my vacation of the busy Los Angeles that felt a world away.
Where to eat? I wanted to stay on the beach or exploring all day. So after checking out Malibu Farm headed to Malibu Country Mart for food on the go.
