Remove a broken bolt in aluminum head

I used 6011 welding rod with a nut that was 1 or 2 sizes bigger than the bolt. Weld the bolt like a mushroom. Build it up the weld in stages. Means build up a mushroom like weld, let it cool then continue until the welds are a 1/4" above the hole or the flat surface on the head. After it's a 1/4" above the surface, then put a nut on/over the hole with the welds in the center. Now, weld the nut to the welds/bolt. Let it cool completely before trying to turn it. Turn a little loosening, then tighten, repeating this until it makes its way out.
