We are selecting large pioneering areas in Europe, where we are working with our local partners to make our vision a reality.

Our vision for the Central Apennines in Italy is one in which the area flourishes as a true biodiversity hotspot, with real wilderness at the very heart of bustling Italy.

Inhabited by the Marsican brown bear, grey wolf, Apennine chamois, red deer, golden eagle, vultures and endemic flora. This provides opportunities for truly Mediterranean wilderness experiences in the Apennines – the Wild Heart of Italy.
