Magic (from Mother to Son) - Alyse Maree

This was made for our little boy Maxy who lives with autism, he at at times finds life challenging and we as parents wanted him to have his own song to calm him, when ever needed, before bed, at drop off for school, to know that he will always be magic, even with a new baby brother on the way needing our love as well. He is the most important part of our life!! The best gift we could be given and to give to maxy his best friend for life baby hayden.

I love you beyond words my big boy but forever first baby. It’s a privilege to watch you grow up every day!
I love to watch your ever growing sweet spot for not just your immediate family but for the people in your life everyday! You are such a loveable little man!!! This year we learnt your passion for music, problem solving and your huge imagination!
I’m blown away by your ability to sense out people’s good vibes, you read the room like it’s a true gift 😂,
I’ve seen your compassion come through when someone is sad yet putting on a happy face trying to hide it, and I can see that you are able to pick up on it, even recently you touched me on the arm, smiled and offered me some of your Apple 😂 I also love that you let me know that something has made you sad too!
You trust me, and I trust you.
I love your progress and the new words you are learning and how you are figuring out the world around you.
Above all else I admire the joy that you bring to any given day! It resonates to others and brightens the day, it’s infectious to be around. We all stop what we’re doing just to watch you smile and laugh so hard because it’s so pure and it brings us back down to what’s real & important! I hope you never change especially that part of your self, your passion is everything.
I often say to your daddy there needs to be more Maxys in this world, more lovers of life! There is only one little dude I know that can light up a room like you and it truly is my best friend Maxy moo!! I know you’ll never shy away from your gifts and rare quirky sparks because that is who you are. Loveable, sweet, compassionate, inviting, introverted yet outgoing and completely unique. A complete mix of your daddy and I.
I cannot believe you are three! I’m so happy for you but It makes me miss you. The little you, I keep forgetting it won’t last long at all. I promise to love and accept all the different parts of your life yet to come in the years ahead.
Thanks for choosing me to be your mummy. There’s not one day since you’ve been conceived I haven’t woken up excited to feel you or see you, to play with you and to love you fiercely. God gave me your love to open up my eyes, much wider then ever before to know what’s real and to be present. You made me a mum for the very first time! The greatest gift I’ve ever been given. You inspired me to have another baby even though I hated being pregnant towards the end and was emotionally spent, you needed a sibling 😂 the things we do for love. Happy 3rd birthday darling boy! I’d do anything for you. I couldn’t live this life without you!
You really are my best friend, my soulmate. I am extremely proud of you baby boy!
