Behind every door there's a story. My name is Nick Ferrand and I see Italian Properties For Sale almost every day. Come with me on this AMAZING Italian property tour of two forgotten buildings in Tuscany, Italy.

I was so excited to find these untouched unrestored Italian properties for sale in the middle of Anghiari, Tuscany. As you know I love Italian property, Italian architecture and all things Italian. This was just such an amazing find. Two historic buildings in the heart of a Tuscan medieval town which haven't been touched for years.

Anghiari is the most incredible medieval town which is famous for the Battle of Anghiari in 1440, when a Florentine army won the battle against an army from Milan. A fresco depicting the "Battle of Anghiari" was painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the Salone dei Cinquecento, Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Unfortunately this fresco has been lost and is called "The Lost Leonardo". However many preparatory studies by Leonardo da Vinci still exist. A central section of the fresco was painted by Rubens in 1603 and this interpretation can be seen in the Louvre, Paris.

Anghiari is surrounded by a huge 13th century wall and internally there are
tiny streets with incredible original medieval houses. Anghiari is
considered one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. I would highly
recommend, if you are travelling in Italy and find yourself on the Umbrian
Tuscan border, to go to Anghiari.

It looks like there was a fire in the building, potentially in the kitchen.
