Iris van Herpen ～ Biomorphism installation ～ Process film

For the Swarovski Kristallwelten Store in Vienna, Iris van Herpen designed five art spaces and larger-than-life jewelry titled 'Biomorphism'.

"The installations explore the phenomenon of lucid dreaming and the fine line between reality and illusion. During a lucid dream, dreamers are aware that they are dreaming and can thus exercise a certain degree of control over the course of the dream. “In the design process, I see lucid dreams as a microscope to my subconscious, uniting reality and the dream."

The art spaces are currently on display and will be open for the next two years. We warmly invite you to have a closer look at how the installations were created, shot by the extraordinary Ryan McDaniels.
