1985 BMW 635CSi Project VLOG: Steering Box Mount Reinforcement

This is a quick overview of installing a steering box mount reinforcement on a 1985 BMW 635CSi. The steering box mounting bracket on the subframe of these cars is a known weak point. In order to re-weld the bracket the subframe must be removed, which is a lot of work. An alternative solution is simply installing a reinforcement kit that goes into the access hole in the subframe.
