Trollstigen - The Ultimate Driving Challenge in Norway!
When we decided to visit Norway, I knew we had to go to Trollstigen and drive this awesome, twisty, serpentine road.
Trollstigen or the "Trolls' Road" is one of the most famous Norwegian Scenic Routes. The road is only open during the summer months and vehicles over 41 feet are prohibited.
The pass has an elevation of 2,800 feet, with viewing platforms and tourist facilities on a plateau above the falls.
The road was opened in July of 1936 after eight years of construction.
The experience was truly AWESOME!!!
