Omer is back to share his personal experience and gives you reasons why you want to choose to come to Kocaeli Izmit for getting Tourist Residency Permit (TRC) or Temporary Residency Permit (TRP) rather then Istanbul.
Because in Istanbul TRC time duration is bout 3 to 5 months but Kocaeli it will take 2 to 3 months. But as you see in the video I got my TRC within 1 week.
Istanbul is acquiring extra documents which includes Health Report from local Turkish hospital and they are also demanding Criminal printout from Turkish Courthouse.
Plus, In Istanbul if you are staying in a rental house with the rental agreement you have to attached a notary public approved copy of your rental agreement ( with 4 documents to confirm the owners valid ownership)

In Kocaeli Izmit you don't need to provide above mentioned documents as these documents are only for Istanbul. That is why in Istanbul TRC application process takes longer time.
