Here I am giving out a couple helpful tips and reasons for why driving for UberEats is a good thing in 2021. I drive for Uber Eats for the extra income in the mean time and as I am exploring how the whole system works, I am sharing it with the world and you, my dear viewer. I hope that my content would help you make a decision if this is something that you would like to actually do for yourself or if it is not for you and the reasons are not compelling enough. If you are reading this, leave me a comment down bellow letting me know that you've read the description since I am unsure if anyone actually reads them.

How is it going, my name is Pasha and welcome to my channel.
Here on this channel I am sharing my journey to financial independence and my findings on ways to achieve such.
In this video I will give you 8 most important reasons, in my opinion, on why you should drive for UberEats.

And if you like my video, please leave a like and consider subscribing for my future content. So lets get right into it.

For number 1 would be being your own boss. That is right, UberEats is a 1099 which does mean that you are an independent contractor and hence you are working for yourself. This does come with a nice level of perks.
After all, you do get to decide how you are getting the job done yourself within the given criteria. The criteria in itself is simple: get to the pickup location safely, pickup the items, and deliver them to the customer. Which leads me to my next point...

...no macro management. This could be a part of being your own boss, but some companies would actually manage every step of the process to the lowest possible detail. It is NOT the case here and in my eyes it is a great reason to drive for UberEats.

Finishing up the trifecta is flexibility. Like before, this could be attributed to being your own boss but in my eyes it is a separate line item since you are not able to be flexible in all scenarios. Driving with UberEats is as simple as going online whenever you feel like it, since there is no need to set a specific schedule, and waiting for the requests.

Now, you are limited to the number of requests on the platform and how busy it is, obviously likelihood of being busy at 4am in the morning is low since you won’t have as many places open for business nor would you have a large customer base due to people sleeping (joking). But during regular business hours I found it to be very consistent in my area and actually predictable.

It is not uncommon to have a job that is either on your feet all day or at the desk all day. I believe that this opportunity is well balanced since you are mixing between sitting while driving and walking while delivering. I would say that you are on your feet about 15% of the time you are online between picking up and dropping off and I view it as a good balance to have mixed work for your earnings. Which does bring me to my next point about the earnings.

A major benefit is ability to withdraw money you’ve earned directly to your debit card right away when you need it. And I mean right away.
THere is a 50-cent charge for doing that, but if you need cash right there and then it is good to have options.

If you are curious on how much you can earn on Uber eats, I’ve made a couple videos on this topic too and I will link it down below.
It is nice when you have options for side income. What if I told you that driving for UberEats doesn’t only come with a benefit of extra cash, but has perks like discounted or free roadside assistance, car maintenance discounts, and even discounted health insurance plans as well. That is right, you can get these benefits and even more by just becoming a driver with UberEats. It is truly nice to have some extra perks on top of your earning, which is why this item makes my list.

Being self employed does give you a responsibility to keep track of your taxes, and in my eyes it is a also a benefit. Here is why. When you work your regular w2 jobs, your taxes are automatically withheld from your pay and when you file your taxes you get anything overpaid back.

For Uber you don’t get that taken out from your pay and rather you need to track it yourself. What I like to do is to set aside a percentage of my earnings into either a savings account or an investment portfolio.
This is not financial advice and I don’t think I am even qualified to give one, so this is all for entertainment purposes only, but if you’d like to invest your money t
