Exodus Tones mix walkthrough

So here is mix a walkthrough of my "Exodus Tones" video, couple of points:

DRUMS:
For drums I used Superior Drummer 2(EZX Metal Machinery) and i multi route them out of the Superior to my DAW. "Metal Machinery" was kind of obvious choice cause it is produced by the same guy who mixed Exodus album so I knew it would be pretty close to start with.

Then I used my own and third party samples with Slate Trigger to enhance the EZX sounds to my taste and to nail the album tones better.
Kick sample is just ripped of one shot from older Exodus album and for Snare there is one shot from Overkill album ripped and Terry Date expansion preset snare sample which are my favourites! 👌

Rest of the drum mix is pretty straightforward mixing.
GUITARS:
I used my Axe FX II to tone match song from the album and really just obliterate it with EQ and then matched it again to make the processing simpler 😂 Here is link below to Fractal Audio forum for a bit more info and for presets if you want to use them

BASS:
Bass is kind of basic split manner of an approach, which means you have low end of the bass(limited to oblivion!!) on different track and top end of the bass(with distortion) on different track and then you can set a balance between those pretty easily.
Couple of more points:
I used some EQ matching on DRUMS bus and MASTER bus channels and to be honest, I don't remember which was my referencing tracks, I would guess Exodus 😅
