Everyone Needs an Uncle Bob!

Last November my family went to Paso Robles, CA to pick up some beef from my Uncle Bob. Ever since I was a kid, I loved going there to visit. It makes you feel like you’re back in the day just enjoying the simple country life. I’ve decided that everyone needs an “Uncle Bob” in their life.

My name is Ryan Valk and I am a California farmer. Most important to me though, I am a husband and a father. Many people that I have met in my life have told me that when they thought of California, they thought of a crowded city or a beach covered in surfers. What you may not know is that California is the leading state in agricultural production! We have an extremely rich history of farming here in the "Golden State".
