Dead by Daylight’s 2v8 Mode 2026 💀☠️ [ 56 ]

Dead by Daylight is bringing back two fan favorites at the end of April 2026: the popular 2v8 mode and the Attack on Titan crossover.

Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that the limited-time variant with two killers against eight survivors will be playable again for a few weeks.

In parallel, content also returns to the anime template, which Dead by Daylight had already enriched with an extensive outfit collection in 2022. This time, there are also new cosmetic items and special quest rewards.

The next run of the 2v8 mode will run from April 28, 2026 to May 19, 2026. This leaves you just under three weeks to plunge back into the chaos of double killer power and significantly more team play on the survivor side.

To put this into perspective: The standard format in Dead by Daylight is still 1v4, i.e. a killer against four survivors who have to repair generators and then escape. The 2v8 mode noticeably turns up this basic feeling, because positioning, rescues and information flow count much more in the team than in the classic match.
