Buckingham Palace is reporting that Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, has died just weeks away from his 100th birthday. “It is with deep sorrow that her majesty the queen announces the death of her beloved husband,” the statement read. “This is devastating news for the royal family,” NBC’s Matt Bradley says from London on TODAY.
