John Singer Sargent: The Watercolors
Mostly known for his Gilded Age portraits in oil, John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) was also a prolific watercolorist, one of the best ever. Museum of Fine Arts Houston assistant curator Kaylin Weber talks about Sargent's masterful depiction of light and shadow, and why Houston is an especially appropriate stop for this traveling exhibition.
