Giving up the Pride of Surrender is an important condition for Surrendering to God.
In this video, Swami Mukundananda explains to us how pride can be a big obstacle towards surrendering to God. Even the act of surrendering to God should be perceived with a humble attitude and not feeling proud that we have surrendered ourselves to God. While we need to put our best efforts to truly surrender to God, it's ultimately God's causeless mercy and grace that help us succeed in our efforts, for which we should always be grateful to him. When we develop humbleness, give up pride and fulfill all the other conditions for surrender, God will bestow his grace upon us.
