Hello, and welcome to Meon’s latest ToolBox Tips video where we are discussing the GRACO GRINDLAZER DC87 G the standard series scarifier machine.

The Graco GrindLazer Standard DC87 G is ideal for basic surface preparation, repairs, and line removal.

It excels in smaller traffic marking removal jobs, trip hazard removal and for surface preparation before applying new traffic markings.

It comes with amazing features such as, an ALL-STEEL FRAME giving it Heavy-duty design, that will hold up to the harsh jobsite environment.

DUAL DEPTH CONTROL, which is a multi-position lever system for fast, macro-adjustments. It has a Rotating knob for fine micro-adjustments.

COMFORT GRIP HANDLES, which Greatly reduces the vibration you feel through your hands for all-day comfort.

SEALED MAIN BEARING which is a Maintenance-free design for long life and ease of use.

TRIPLE DRIVE BELTS for more Durable, long-life design for high torque power transfer.

HONDA POWER WITH CYCLONE FILTER which is Contractor preferred - excellent power and proven reliability. Cyclone filter protects the engine from harmful airborne dust.

VACUUM PORT FOR DUST REMOVAL, allowing you to link up the LazerVac 330 vacuum system for the reduction of airborne dust.

DUAL PURPOSE TACHOMETER AND HOUR METER mean you can Track usage for maintenance - ensuring your equipment is in top shape. Displays engine RPM’s while running.

There are 4 drum options which are wire brush, carbide flail, carbide miller, and steel beam.

The wire brush you would use for general maintenance and preparation of reinstatement of lines, removing dirt and laitance.

The carbide flail can do the same but far more effective for removing paint and MMA products.

The carbide miller is very similar to the carbide flail, but it would be used for removing tape, thermoplastic, and MMA lines.

Finally, the steel beam is for removing basic lines and dirt.

We would like to mention that GrindLazer training can be provided in person at Meon in Portsmouth, where we also show you around the Meon experience centre. We provide food and drink on the day also.

The other options are we can visit you on site at your depot and not to mention you will also be given access to our online training portal course.
