My husband's head was on my lap, and I could not do anything... I am surprised that despite the many tourists there (Baisaran meadow), a single army or police officer was not present in the area... We did not experience any Hindu-Muslim conflict in Kashmir... There is no such environment there. I feel it is only the Pakistanis who talk of the Hindu-Muslim divide to cause conflicts...The government should ensure adequate security in such places or not allow people to enter such danger zones... There was nothing there, no hospital, no security, no help..."
