I Thought ALL Japanese People Liked ANIME! I Was Wrong!

Do you think ALL Japanese people like anime?! I used to think this for sure! Man, I got destroyed for thinking that! When I was in college, I was a big anime fan/ otaku and thought since anime is from Japan, Japanese people must like anime too. This makes sense, right?! Absolutely not! What was wrong with me? I can't believe how dumb I was. Yet, this is a commonly held stereotype or assumption people have about Japanese people. I was educated the hard way. Don't be like me!
