15 Scenes Twilight Actors Were Embarrassed To Film

The Twilight Saga is definitely not remembered in the same light it was first loved in. Now that our favorite sparkly vampire has finally become a Bat (Edward now Batman in case you’re not keeping up), we’re digging into the times the actors found themselves the most embarrassed. In retrospect, it must have been super weird for Robert Pattinson at twenty-one years old to be the object of not only thirteen year old’s fantasies but also forty-year-old moms. One of those people, Robert Pattinson said, was the author herself. And while we’re on the topic of being objectified, Taylor Lauter who played Jacob, hated being bare-chested, especially when he was the only one. It was weird and uncomfy for the guy. And one scene he found particularly humiliating? The one where he pulled off his entire shirt to clean up Bella’s wound. That took the cliche action movie moment a little bit too far. And we haven’t even touched on the Honeymoon scene yet… Or the cabin in the woods scenes. Are you surprised that these scenes were awkward to film? Well, they also got an R rating the first time around and had to be redone! Turns out, the only thing more awkward than fake-doin’ it is fake-doin’ it knowing young teenagers are going to be watching. Those scenes embarrassed both R-Patz and Kristen Stewart. And we didn’t forget that birthing scene. That one was not only gross but terribly awkward in that way that makes you laugh out of discomfort. We’re wondering if the cast of Twilight would have ever come on board had they known what they were signing up for. The entire series feels a little bit like a stain on their careers. At least, that’s the vibe we’re getting from the actors. With the release of Midnight Sun in 2020 last year, don’t count on the cast reprising their roles.
