Have you ever watched figure skating on TV and been completely confused by the scoring? Maybe you're watching a Grand Prix event & wondered why someone that fell got the gold? Or, maybe you thought one skater was better, but someone else outscored them you didn't understand why. Well, you're not alone! Figure skating scoring is complicated and can be difficult to understand. Like gymnastics and diving competitions, judging in figure skating is intrinsically subjective.
