One of the best movies about the German perspective, together with "Das Boot" and "Der Unterang". This one is highly recommended, its not your average Hollywood film with a happy and hero ending.

The Battle of Stalingrad (23 August 1942 – 2 February 1943) is one of the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare, with an estimated 2 million total casualties. This tells the story of a company who tries to survive this hellish battle.
