Government vaccine pathway 'an in-principle plan with no guts'
Former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says "we need to start being told the truth" so people can put aside their worries about the vaccine and make a decision based on fact rather than the government's "in-principle plan with no guts".
"So now we're going to discuss this new four-pronged plan to get us out of the quagmire we're in, but it's not a solution," she said.
"We saw an extraordinary thing where a Liberal Prime Minister band together with Labor premiers and abandon a Liberal premier - who wanted to keep people coming into the country - instead halving the number of Australians coming home to determine an in-principle plan with no guts.
"One step forward and two steps back. Now the prime minister has exposed himself that if that plan fails it's all his fault."
