A quote from Natalie's mom, Katy:

"We were teaching Natalie about marriage, and telling her it is between two people that love each other. I was intentionally keeping it vague so as to not tell her the old "it's between a man and a women who love each other...".

Apparently I kept it too vague, because I did not explain that it is NOT between daddy and daughter.

My husband, Tom, and I then tried to let her down gently and explain that daddy was already married to mommy and she just gave me a dirty look and yelled "NO". (Like I had stolen him).

She has somewhat accepted it, but she still gets a bit riled up if we bring up the fact that we are married."
