IMV imaging Small Animal Advanced Abdominal Ultrasound Video 9 – Right Limb of the Pancreas

This series of videos by Ben Sullivan BVSc MRCVS, one of the in-house vets at IMV imaging (formally known as BCF Technology), aims to provide a solid knowledge of the principles and techniques involved in acquiring and interpreting diagnostic-quality ultrasonographic images of most of the structures of the abdomen in dogs and cats not already covered in our previous abdominal ultrasound video series.

This final video describes the ultrasonographic approach to the right limb of the pancreas, the part of this organ most readily identified in the dog. Being able to image this region can be useful in cases of pancreatitis and pancreatic neoplasms in particular.
