Yi qi The bat Winged Dinosaur

Many millions of years ago one group of feathery dinosaurs evolved to take to the air using their wings as a means of powering into the sky. However, this wasn't a linear process and there were other off shoots where these light weight creatures evolved to take to the air on different occasions. One of the most interesting examples of this was a dinosaur called YI QI and its family members that unlike the other dinosaurs that had feathery wings they had leathery bat like wings.
