Rainbow Riders - Night of the Horse 2011 - Del Mar National Horse Show

On Saturday April 23rd at the 66rd Annual Del Mar National Horse Show in Del Mar, California we were entertained by the Rainbow Riders.

Rainbow Riders
Often referred to as the "Blue Angels on horseback", the Rainbow Ridera Precision Mounted Drill Team amazes audiences with its incredible group of ladies and horses who perform highly skilled, high-speed, precision drills with intricate, and, at times, extremely dangerous maneuvers. They fill the areena with the excitement of fast horses, tight crosses, and colors of the rainbow
Women of all ages who come from all walks of life make up the Rainbow Riders team. In spite of their diversity, they all share a deep love of horses, hard work, and have forged a camaradie which is evident as their fearlessness will undoubtedly leave you on the edge of your seat cheering for more.
