The best way to avoid loc envy in 2023 is to take the time to research and understand the various factors that can affect your loc journey, such as lifestyle, hair texture, and hair maintenance. It is also important to carefully select the style of locs that will work best for your lifestyle and hair type. Also, try to maintain a positive attitude about your crown, hair or not, as you are not your hair and your hair is not your crown. Your crown has existed long before hair sprouted onto your head.

I pray this video can help to keep you motivated and confident in this journey called life and encourage those who’ve been struggling to find peace with their crowns. I believe people who live with alopecia, hair damage, and scalp disorders are just as worthy to acknowledge their crowns and the magic of their individual inner and outer beauty.
