MYSTERY MAKES HORROR WORK (STOP EXPLAINING SH*T)

Mystery makes horror work. Why? Because horror is "the anticipation of a terrifying outcome." It's mystery...the vague but encompassing dread we feel before the bad thing happens, before the evil reveals itself. So the less the evil reveals, the more horror we feel. Big reveal? Horror is about the NOT reveal. This is the theory of omission. Let's get into this.
