How ONE Tank Made Hitler’s Generals Look Like Amateurs!

June 1941. Operation Barbarossa. Lithuania.
A single Soviet KV-1 heavy tank became stranded at a crossroads near

Raseiniai — and accidentally blocked the advance of an entire German Panzer division for nearly 24 hours.

German 50mm anti-tank guns fired round after round — the shells bounced off.
A 88mm Flak gun was moved up specifically to destroy it.

The KV-1 took the hit — and kept firing.
Engineers tried to sneak up and attach explosives. The tank crew shot them.

German soldiers eventually used a captured Soviet artillery piece to create a distraction while engineers placed charges under the hull.

When they finally examined the destroyed tank — they counted more than 70 impact marks on its armor.

Inside were five dead crew members.
They had fought until the very last shell.

One tank. Five men. One entire division held for a day.
