Hi!! This is a realistic college decisions reactions video from an average student - hope you enjoy! I'd be happy to answer any questions you have or give advice:). Below are some additional details!

I strongly believe that you do not need to have perfect scores and stats to get into good schools. I was super worried about this going into the college application process but it all turned out okay! You don't need to be perfect— in fact many schools look for students who they see potential in to thrive at the school. Just present yourself authentically and focus on the aspects of the application that you are still in control of (like writing supplements & essays). I come from a competitive school and compared to most people my stats are pretty average. I took 8 AP classes (HGAP, AP Lang, APES, AP Psych, AP Studio Art, AP Gov, AP Micro, AP Stats) throughout high school, 4 honors classes (Bio Honors, Geo Honors, World Lit Honors, English IV Honors) and the rest were regular.

I applied to most schools as a major in the creative field (Design, Business of Creative Enterprises, Communication Design, Photography) and submitted a portfolio for NYU, UCLA, Parsons, and Emerson!
