A Closer Look at the Gen 3 Coyote in the Revology Mustang
Earlier this year, Revology Cars started deliveries of its new, licensed reproduction 1965-1968 Mustang and Shelby GT models equipped with the latest version of Ford’s 5.0L Ti-VCT DOHC engine, known as the “Gen 3 Coyote”. The all-aluminum Gen 3 Coyote revs to 7500rpm and produces 460hp and 420lb-ft of torque from its 5.0 liters of displacement, while at the same time delivering modern drivability, reliability, and fuel economy. Since then, we have been deluged with requests for more details on how Revology packages the Gen 3 Coyote in the early Mustang architecture. In this video, Revology founder Tom Scarpello and chief engineer Aaron Wright discuss how the team made it happen.
