My Top 7 Techniques & Advises:

#1 Find a learning partner and join a community. Together, you can push each other, discuss issues and grow faster!
#2 Set ambitious long-term goals. Don't underestimate what you can achieve in one year.
#3 Set more realistic short-term goals: Don't overestimate what you can achieve in a day or two. Split your goals into smaller sub-goals.
#4 Use your knowledge early and often. Stay motivated by using what you learned. Build stuff, show off to yourself!
#5 The "5 Minutes" trick. If you're not motivated, set yourself a time limit. Try working on something for only five minutes and do something fun thereafter.
#6 Everyone is showing off! Keep in mind that you only see the things that work for other people - you don't see their failures. Don't let yourself be dragged down by that.
#7 Don't read too many "motivational guides" (notice the irony!). Learning about techniques to boost your motivation is great but don't overdo it. Eventually, use the techniques and get stuff done!
