Saskatchewan - Land of the Living Skies II | A 4K Storm Time-lapse Film

Saskatchewan is home to some of the world's premier thunderstorms. Many of these summer storms morph into one of nature's most amazing weather spectacles, the supercell which, coincidentally, make fascinating time-lapse films. For the past two summers, I've spent countless hours and miles racing to stay in front of these storms to bring you this storm timelapse series entitled "Land of the Living Skies". For Saskatchewan residents, you'll recognize this as one of the slogans of our wonderful province.

This film features timelapse from many different storms from the 2020 #skstorm season. I chased both big systems and small. Some of the bigger events included are:
- July 4th storm that put down three tornadoes near Assiniboia, Saskatchewan
- July 7th squall line near Val Marie, Saskatchewan
- July 12th storm that hit Melville, Saskatchewan. My favourite storm chase of the year.
- July 23rd that hit Regina. Saskatchewan near dark
- Many more smaller weather events from across the Canadian province on May 26th (Regina), June 13th (Val Marie), June 30th (Southey), July 4th (Moose Jaw), July 10th (Avonlea), July 13th (Wolseley), July 20th (Balgonie), August 4th (Sedley), August 12th (Southey)

Technical Stuff:
- Shot with a Nikon D800e and a Nikon D3300. Using primarily the Tamron 15-30 2.8 and Sigma 50mm 1.8 lenses but mixing in the Tamron 70-200 2.8 from time to time as well as the kit lens for the D3300 when in a pinch
- All clips available in 6K resolution
- Music and sound effects licensed from Epidemic Sound
