This is based on a personal experience I have had. I was in the middle of a crowd at the time and then suddenly I lost all my friends in the crowd. I tried calling but my phone didn't work, everyone spoke gibberish, then I broke down. Turns out my friends were right next to me the whole time and I was confused because I literally could not hear, see, nor feel them when they said they grabbed me. I don't know what happened that day, but it never happened again so I'm relieved!
