Interagency Briefing – Implementing the President's Performance Management Framework

Briefing Overview

Pursuant to Presidential Memorandum M-21-22 reestablishing, in its entirety, Part 6 of Circular No. A-11, “Federal Performance Framework for Improving Program and Service Delivery,” this interagency briefing will highlight business transformation methods implemented by TPM at NOAA for improving project and program performance management on one of their key strategic initiatives. Attendees are highly encouraged to bring real-life situations and concerns to this interactive briefing session.

It is highly recommended that CIOs, CIO staff, Business Transformation decision-makers, and information resource management (IRM) decision makers attend this briefing.

About the Speakers

Rodolfo J. Lavaque, Chief Engineer, TPM. Mr. Lavaque has served as an Executive, Program Manager and Multidisciplinary Engineer with more than 20 years with the federal government and the private sector at NASA, NOAA, the Air Force and Fortune 500 companies. Vast experience in end to end projects’ lifecycle (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing), with concentration in the development and analysis of schedules, budget and cost control, risk analysis, training and strategic planning. Bilingual English-Spanish.

Dr. J. Greg Hanson, Chief Technology Officer, TPM. Dr. Hanson has been responsible for leading organizational and digital transformation throughout his career in the United States Air Force, at the United States Senate, and in all levels of Industry as a Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and a General Manager (GM). A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, and with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, Dr. Hanson is an award-winning leader, author, and lecturer.
