How to Fix a Boat Trailer axle, Bass Fishing trip Trailer Fail. I went to the river and they were not generating water which allowed the water level to be even with the boat ramp dropoff. I made myself cringe when I loaded to leave. I tweaked my trailer axle into an angle I did not think was possible. I show the entire process and thinking behind fixing it, and not buying another weak axle just to tweak it again. I actually saved money fixing the axle this way, and in the process made it stronger than it was new.
