====================
All we need is a 5/16 inch hex bit to disassemble the Sepa CF Holder.
Flip it upside down and then we’re going to loosen the 4 inner bolts here.
Start with this corner and then jump across the opposite corner. Pick the other side and then go to the last opposite corner. Then completely loosen all the bolts.
Be sure to support the plate so it doesn’t fall out once you do this. Then slide the pressure plate out.
Alright, let’s take this opportunity to use a cleaning solution of your choice to clean off the bottom of the pressure plate and the inside of the Sepa CF Holder.
The Sepa CF Holder tends to build up residue at the interface between the disc and the bore within the base.
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to hook up our hand pump and pump it until just above the top portion above the o-ring is exposed, then we’re going to clean it.
Ok, so I can see the top of my o-ring groove starting to appear, so I’m going to stop right there. And then I’ll use the cleaning solution and some paper towels to clean this inner edge.
Once you’re done cleaning, relieve the pressure and then you’re going to push your disc back into the base. Then go ahead and disconnect the hand pump.
Now we can flip the Sepa CF Holder back upside down.
Hold our clamping plate underneath the bottom plate and line up the holes. Let’s thread these spring and bolt assemblies back into the base plate. Turn these hand tight.
Then starting with this top corner, I’m going to go ½ turn, same for over here. Do the opposite corners using the 5/16 inch hex bit. Do the same across the other corner and opposite corners. Left turn, left turn, back to the original corner and just completely do that until we get these fully tightened.
