How To Use Local Masking in Luminar AI - Power Photo Editing Without Layers!

In this tutorial, I'm going to show how to use Local Masking in Luminar AI. Many people have expressed concern that in this new version of Luminar layers are no longer supported. Well, don't fear (too much). The new Local Masking feature can add adjustments that can be painted in. Different adjustments can be stacked up one on top of another (sounds a bit like layers right?) and you can also add images as layers too - well technically called "local masks". Anyway, terminology aside, they're a really valuable tool to help you customise your photos and really bring out the best in your photo.

In this video, I'll share how to use and paint in local masks as both adjustment masks (adjustment layers) and also add textures. As well as adding textures to your photo this tool can also be used to composite other photographic elements.
