we strive for the life of this world

When we strive for the life of this world we should have a mindset of certainty in Allah’s ability to give us EVERYTHING we want in this life.

Allah says in a hadith Kudsi “O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all to stand together in one place and ask of Me, and I were to give everyone what he requested, then that would not decrease what I possess, except what is decreased of the ocean when a needle is dipped into it. [Sahih Muslim / Hadith 24, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi]

But when we strive for our Akhirah we must have a scarcity mindset. We must never feel we have enough time to worship Allah, to be kind, to be grateful, to give charity. We can not delay in our tauba or in doing good.
