Crowds Flock to Arizona's River as COVID-19 Cases Spike | NowThis
Crowds of people flocked to the Salt River near Phoenix, AZ, over the weekend armed with plenty of tubes and coolers, but barely any masks. With areas of the state reaching 100°F on Sunday, temperatures are climbing — but so are COVID-19 cases. Arizona reported more than 3,800 new cases on Sunday alone, bringing its total count to more than 73,000.
