SALTED EGG ALERT! Homemade salted egg yolk powder | golden sand｜金沙咸蛋黄粉

Lately salted egg yolk powder has become a very popular ingredient. We all know about the famous salted egg yolk fish skin snack, and salted egg yolk potato chips.

This salted egg yolk powder a.k.a golden sand powder is also used in dishes like golden sand prawn, golden sand fried chicken etc.

This is actually quite easy to make, and it only requires 2 ingredients!

You might be thinking why is the milk powder necessary. Using milk powder not only adds to the flavours, but it also helps create the powder or sand-like texture when mixed with the egg yolks. If you do not have milk powder, you can try with coffee creamer powder instead.
