S21Ep13: Situk River Alaska Steelhead!

Dano and I grew up about 200 yards from one another in Minnesota. However, instead of fishing the Crow Wing River of our youth, we shifted gears and went after magnum steelhead on the Situk River! Once you catch one of these hard fighting fish, you’ll be addicted!

The Situk River is home to Alaska’s 2nd largest Steehead run by quantity, but it gets the largest fish of any run in Alaska. With 2/3 of the fish arriving in the spring and the other 1/3 in the fall, we chose to get after it in the spring!
