Hi Everyone. Happy 2021! In this video, we will unbox and test Google Pixel 5. Let's take a closer look at the phone's design.

The Pixel 5 got a housing made of aluminum instead of glass. The phone is light and thin, the screen is smooth.

It weighs 151g and has a flexible OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The 6-inch screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 6, just like the Pixel 4a.

There's no headphone jack on the Pixel 5 instead of one Type-C connector at the bottom.
The phone comes with a SIM tool, USB Quick Transfer adapter, 18W fast charge adapter, and a cable.

Google Pixel 5 features 4080mAh battery cell. Google said it can last up to 48 hours in extreme battery saver condition when you really need it.

Google Pixel 5 supports wireless charger and reverse wireless charging. What's more? Pixel 5 is rated IP68 water resistance.

Lets begin the waterproof test. There is oleophobic layer on the screen, water droplets slide quickly across the screen.

Then we put it into a 20cm water tank for about 12mins, Pixel 5 worked fine.
We also prepared 1.5m tubular water column. Do you think it can handle in 30 minutes?

Google Pixel 5 stayed under 1.5 meters of water for half-hour without a single bubble come out.

We took it out of the water and check everything was normal, Pixel 5 work great.

Here we removed the battery cover, no water drops were found.
Keep disassembling the phone, no water intake, no water droplets. Pretty cool!
