Growing Up Into Entrepreneurship | Frances Wong | TEDxDesignTechHS

Big cities and tech hubs like the Bay Area are often known for their entrepreneurs and an intense self-starter culture. All the ones who make it into the news also happen to be Ivy-League-or-Stanford-Dropouts who just so happened to have this brilliant idea that makes them billions. As a high school student, I feel it's really important to humanize the mindset and bring to light the attainable possibilities, from one normal person to another. I hope to share my experiences and joys through this talk. Frances Wong is a senior at Design Tech High School who will be attending UC Berkeley in the fall. She is highly involved in interdisciplinary studies and entrepreneurship with experience in ventures, healthcare and startups. Frances is also an avid musician and hopes to one day take on gastronomy. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
