【安全誠行】工作勤為先　萬事平安首 - 香港建造學院（上水院校）默哀會

水務署署長盧國華先生、建造業議會主席何安誠工程師、議會成員林健榮測量師及陳劍光先生，五月中同赴香港建造學院（學院）上水院校出席默哀會悼念逝去工友，並訓勉一眾學員汲取教訓，銘記安全重責，未來加入職場時刻保持警覺，避免意外，保護自己及他人。

回顧幾宗事故，建造業議會主席何安誠工程師慨嘆意外皆因「搏」字起。他提醒學員開工前必須瞻前顧後，每行一步都要確保安全才可開工，並訓誡學員要反思，不可有「搏」的心態。水務署署長盧國華先生亦提到工地安全並非只是工人責任，業主、駐工地顧問工程師、建築商人人有責。」

[Safety Walk with Thomas]: Life isn’t expensive, it’s priceless: HKIC Holds a Moment of Silence

The latest article of “Safety Walk with Thomas” has been published.

“A silent tribute event was held in the Hong Kong Institute of Construction, Sheung Shui Campus, in May in remembrance of workers who lost their lives due to industrial accidents. Mr Lo Kwok-wah, Director of Water Supplies, Ir Thomas Ho On-sing, Chairman of CIC, together with members of the CIC, Mr Chan Kim-kwong and Sr Eddie Lam Kin-wing, have attended to share their experience with students, and reminded them to always bear the importance of safety in minds.

Ir Thomas Ho was saddened to see that those workers involved have all taken a risk. He reminded students to take every step cautiously and urged the students to never let their guards down. Mr Lo Kwok-wah suggested that it is everyone's responsibility to keep the sites safe as works are interlinked.”
