I started construction of my home on April 1, 2025 in the suburb of Dumaguete (Valencia), a city in the central Philippines.

I asked the architectural engineer to build a house according to the design I came up with myself as an amateur to create a low-budget but good-quality, modern, and comfortable living environment.
This time, I have posted the status of the construction site after 26-33 days from the start of construction.

Valencia is cool and rich in nature due to its mountainous location. Access to Dumaguete and the airport is 15 minutes away. Medical care is also available at the Silliman University General Hospital, which is available for emergencies. Dumaguette is a student town with many universities, where you can enjoy swimming and hot springs. Prices are lower than in large cities, and people are friendly and safe. The nickname of Dumaghette is “The City of Gentle People.
Along the coastal road, there are many restaurants and bars catering exclusively to foreigners, giving the area an exotic atmosphere.

フィリピン中部の都市ドゥマゲッテの近郊(バレンシア)で2025年4月1日に自宅建設を開始しました。
低予算ながら良質の、モダンで快適な生活が送れるデザインを素人ながら自分で考え、そのデザインに従った家の建設を建築技師にお願いしました。
今回は建設開始後26～33日経過した建設現場の状況を投稿しました。

バレンシアは山間部にあるため冷涼で自然豊か。ドゥマゲッテや空港へのアクセスも15分。医療もシリマン大学総合病院があり、緊急で利用できます。ドゥマゲッテは大学が集まる学生の町で、海水浴や温泉も楽しめます。物価も大都市よりは安く治安も良く人々は親切です。ドゥマゲッティのニックネームは「The City of Gentle People (穏やかな人々の街)」です。
海岸道路沿いには専ら外国人向けのレストランやバーなども立ち並んでおり、エキゾティックな雰囲気があります。
