Horse Trainer Shares Bittersweet Journey to the Kentucky Derby

For the first time in his 30-year career, horse trainer Mark Glatt will have a horse, So Happy, run for the roses at the 2026 Kentucky Derby. It's a dream that is bittersweet for Glatt after his wife of 25 years died suddenly of heart failure. Now, he carries her with him as the big race approaches. TODAY’s Dylan Dreyer reports from Churchill Downs.
