Slide Out Shelving

Hey All, and welcome to The Berded Woodworker. Thank you for stopping by. In this episode I'm making pull out shelves for a client that just needs to access her can food and pantry items a little easier. The space on either side of the shelves, behind the face frame, was just too big to add spacer and to your traditional shelving with the sliders attached to the sides. I came up with a design that conceals the sliders under the shelving and attaches directly to the cabinet shelves. I used pocket holes to attach the shelving to the cabinet before I attached the sliders to the actual shelving. She wanted melamine, and she got melamine.
