360 Ride Through an Electron Beam Irradiator (360 0046 Stitch XHC)

Beam parameters: 3.6MeV, 5.3mA
A gear 360 camera is shielded from x-ray and electron bombardment and sent through the Neobeam irradiator. There is a 5" diameter 1/8" thick lead "umbrella" over the camera to shield the camera from direct electron beam bombardment and a 1/8" spherical lead jacket around the gear 360 with cutouts for the lens. There is no lead glass shielding over the lenses so x-ray noise increases significantly near the beam.
